Crafted by Cat

Hello, I’m Cat, a crochet pattern designer and the face behind Crafted by Cat. Originally from Surrey, I now live by the seaside in Folkestone, Kent.

When I was young, I was taught to knit by my grandparents and mum. Inspired by a colleague, I learnt to crochet at the start of 2020 when we moved into lockdown. I quickly fell in love with the craft and started designing my own patterns in 2021. I love granny squares and bright colours and I design everything from clothing, to homeware and accessories. I love inspiring beginners and sharing the tips and tricks that I’ve picked up along the way!
